Indian Musical Band 2020, an open, straightforward, national-level digital Contest for lyricist, singers and musicians from all genres organized by Yuva Pahal Sansthan in association with Credent TV(OTT and media partner company)and Voice of Music-Saptsur(YouTube Channel and event management company)

Indian Musical Band Contest is a charity program to support the artists in music profession and women & youth of backward classes from rural and urban slums areas. This charity program is being led by Yuva Pahal Sansthan(A reputed NGO in western Rajasthan, pls visit www.yuvapahal.org) in collaboration with Credent TV(Pls visit www. Credenttv.live)

Anybody from anywhere in India can submit their entry. Entry fee will be Rs. 200 (credited in account of Yuva Pahal Sansthan) just for every class every individual. One individual can apply for all classifications according to his/her desire. The submitted entries will be screened by prominent Singers, Lyricists, and Musicians and by the public voting. After making of their groups they will be accessible for public voting.  

Winners will get free professional audio recording, music video and promotion by and on “Voice of Music Saptsur” YouTube Channel. First level selections will be zone wise.

Zones details are as follows:-

  1. NORTHERN ZONE:
    Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Laddakh, Jammu & Kashmir
  2. NORTH EASTERN ZONE: 
    Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura
  3. EASTERN ZONE:
    Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal
  4. WESTERN ZONE:
    Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa
  5. CENTRAL ZONE: 
    Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh
  6. SOUTHERN ZONE:
    Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands

15+ years old male and female can participate in the contest. There is no restrictions in upper age limit for the participants.

  • Last date of sending entries and Result declaration?

Last date for sending the entries in IMB contest is 31st December 2020. Result of final round will be announced by 28th February,2021. Awards distribution and release of music album will be finished by 31st March 2021.

  • Which type of music and lyrics can be used?

Any type of music (folk, classical, rock, pop, Indian, regional etc.) can be used. But creations must be original.

  • How to participate?

Please visit www.credenttv.live and register yourself. Please note that you must have prepared with your composition in audio/video or PDF/JPEG format.

Please go through the following guidelines regarding IMB contest 2020:

Musicians:

  1. Record your own created music (original, not copied )
  2. Fill the Entry Form, pay fee and upload your track as an audio/video file.
  3. If you are selected, you will be invited for the next round

Lyricist:

  1. Write a song (original, not copied )
  2. Fill the Entry Form, pay fee and upload pdf file of your song.
  3. If you are selected, you will be invited for the next round

Singers:

  1. Submit raw audio without music or a composed track (with music is preferred).
  2. Fill the Entry Form, pay fee and upload your track as an audio/video file.
  3. If you are selected, you will be invited for the next round
  4. How to be selected?
  5. Auditions at national level: All formal entries (for all categories of Lyricist/Musicians/Singers) are evaluated by a panel of judges (experienced, renowned lyricist, musicians and singers from different genres/specialisations). On achievement of 5000 participants or more, Judges will select the Top 50 Bands at Zone Level Contest who proceed to the next Level.  
  • Zone Level Contest: These 50 Bands have to make one original song each which will be uploaded YouTube Channel of Voice of Music Saptsur for the Popularity Contest. The Top 10 bands whose tracks achieve the maximum number of views by the Counting Day will be eligible for the Grand Finale.
  • Grand Finale: Top 10 Teams will be competing for Title and screened by eminent musicians, lyricists, singers and by public voting. (Voting weightage will be- Judges 60% + Public Voting 40%) and Top 3 winners bands will be announced winners (Winner, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up). In Grand Finale each band will have to perform in 7 different styles of music. All the styles will be decided by the judges and common for all teams.

Up to 25 mb file can be upload. it can be in video/audio/pdf format.
